Blatt 12 der lithografischen Folge "Szenen aus dem Leben Christi" von James Ensor (1860-1949). Ein Segelboot mit mehreren Personen. Eine weiße Gestalt steht am Heck und weist in den Himmel. Das Boot fährt auf eine große Welle zu, auf deren Krone ein enterndes Schiffsheck zu sehen ist. Der Himmel ist geteilt: Links dramatische Dunkelheit in rot und blau, rechts löst sich diese Dunkelheit durch die Strahlkraft der weißen Gestalt auf dem Schiff auf. In der Darstellung ist das Vorbild William Turners gut erkennbar. Signiert in der Platte rechts unten mit "Ensor".
